Haunticello

October 12, 2017

Monticello’s Haunticello will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Monticello High School. Please enter by the main gym and concession stand. Haunticello Fest will take place after Trick or Treating, which is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Village of Monticello. The concession stand will open at 5:30 p.m., and Costume Judging will take place at 6:00 p.m., with cash prizes in five age categories, including an adult category. A Haunted Hayride will begin at 6:30 p.m. and go until 10:00 p.m., depending on the number of riders, and pick up will be at the circle drive. The hayrides will be less scary earlier in the evening for young riders and will become scarier later for older riders. After you get your frights, head back to the school for a Bonfire from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., run by the Monticello Fire Department. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the entire event. The admission fee for Haunticello is $5.00, or $3.00 for ages 4 and under, and you may sign up for the Haunted Hayride and Costume Contest at the time that you pay admission by the main gym. There will be free games to play, with small prizes and candy.

The Art Club is looking for donations of old baby dolls, old Halloween décor and/or various prizes for the kids’ games. The donations will not be returned, some will be altered and used for future Halloweens. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing you all at Haunticello!
