New Odyssey is the ultimate in music, song, and comedy

November 30, 2017

Fun and gusto with Christmas songs and Santa outfits mark New Odyssey’s Holiday Show to be presented at the Monroe Arts Center (MAC) on Saturday, December 2, at 7:30 p.m.  New Odyssey’s hilarious Christmas production features great music and song, comedy, skits, costumes, and audience participation.

Gary Todd, Michael Jay, and Gary Polkow — the men of New Odyssey — are a power-packed trio who know their way around all things musical.  Woodwinds, strings, keys, percussion, and brass are just some of the thirty instruments they wield during the course of their show.  Combining their individual virtuosity to every aspect of their performance provides their audience with an unforgettable and memorable entertainment experience.  While their skits add a dose of holiday zaniness, their Christmas classics, Christmas rock, and country Christmas music, all in special arrangements, are the calling cards of this performance, making them a must see group and one of the most unique acts on the touring circuit.

In May 2018, New Odyssey will be celebrating the milestone of forty years of continuous entertainment with their current personnel.  They comment, “All good things must come to an end,” as the saying goes.  They have collectively decided that their journey as a band is nearing its end, with their last performance taking place on December 31, 2018.  Monroe Arts Center is thrilled to be a part of their final tour.
