Dairy Days Public Notice

June 14, 2018

The Monticello Police Department would like to invite everyone to attend Dairy Days on June 23, 2018. We hope everyone will take the time to enjoy this wonderful family event.

Alcohol will only be permitted downtown from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., for the antique tractor pull. We would like to remind everyone: all alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the closed street area. Those found to be consuming or possession of open alcohol outside of those areas will be cited for the violation, and the forfeiture is $200.50 per offense.

The Municipal Parking lot and Main Street from Lake Avenue to Coates Avenue will also be closed. The no parking zones are necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians and visitors for the event. The posted temporary no parking zones and Enforcement is $25.00 per offense and the vehicle can be towed at the owner’s expense.
