Green County Dairy Days in Monticello

Saturday, June 23, 2018

June 21, 2018

Monticello has been chosen as the site of the 2018 Green County Dairy Days, held this year on Saturday, June 23rd.

The day begins with Moo-Tails at the Monticello School at 10:00 a.m., followed by The Big Question at 11:00 a.m., and the Queen’s Brunch at 11:30 a.m. The crowning of the new Green County Dairy Queen and Green County Dairy Princess will take place at 2:00 p.m., on Main Street.

The fun doesn’t end with the crowning. Starting at 2:00 p.m., there will be fun crafts and prizes at Village Park for kids until 4:00 p.m., and the Monticello Lions and Lioness Clubs will have their food stand open (with those world-famous hand-dipped cheese curds) until 6:00 p.m. The Kiddie Tractor Pull begins at 3:00 p.m. in the Village Park, and an Antique Tractor Pull will take place on Main Street beginning at 4:00 p.m. The Green County Ag Chest Ice Cream Trailer will be on-site all afternoon as well.

The Green County Ag Chest invites all area residents to visit beautiful Monticello and enjoy an afternoon of family fun. Monticello is scheduled to host Dairy Days again in 2029.
