Eagles Spotted in Belleville Area

Eagles have been spotted in the Lake Belle View islands area, which understandably offers some great opportunities for bird-watching and photos. However, please be aware that federal guidance states that human activity should be avoided from January 15 - July 30 within a set distance of a nest, depending on the activity.

Belleville High School to Host Red Cross Blood Drive

The Belleville High School Student Council is proud to be hosting the annual Red Cross Blood drive on Wednesday, April 15, in the High School Gymnasium from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  We have a goal of collecting 35 or more units during this drive and we welcome all students, parents, and community members to get involved!

Zanoya Places Second at Indoor Track Championships

Monticello alumni Reid Zanoya and his UW Oshkosh teammates, Brian Beaudo, Kallen Bentz, and Danny Trimner took second place in the 4x400 relay event Saturday, March 14, at the NCAA Division III National Indoor Track Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Augustana of Illinois edged Oshkosh out by 2/100ths of a second to win the national title.
The Oshkosh team's time of 3:15.99 broke the school record of 3:16.71 for that event, which they had set the previous Saturday in Stevens Point.

Belleville Area Cares Coalition (BACC) Asks You to Help Stop Illegal Underage Drinking at Springtime Events

Springtime brings lots of opportunities for youth and adults to celebrate the accomplishments of the past school year; blow off pent-up energy from the long Wisconsin winter and generally have fun.  This year, Belleville looks to avoid the tragic alcohol related teen deaths that have marred so many past Wisconsin proms and graduations.
