Green County Genealogical Society Open House

The public is invited to the Green County Genealogical Society’s Open House, being held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The Open House will be held in the Research Center, which is located in the lower level of the Monroe Public Library, located at 925 16th Avenue in the city of Monroe.

Lila Dibble

Lila (Kubly) Dibble, age 96, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015. Born on July 29, 1918, on the family farm in New Glarus to Nic and Alda Kubly, she enjoyed helping her father in the fields more than her mother in the house.

Twelfth Annual District 6 Holstein Futurity Winners Announced

Judge Chad Ryan, Wisconsin Holstein Princess Attendant, Cierra Ehrke-Essock, and Wisconsin Holstein Princess, Sierra Lurvey, along with Badgerland Financial representative Anne Schultz, Monroe, presented Quad-R Lauthority Darla and her owner, Nicole Smith, Monticello, with a check for $500.00 for winning the 12th Annual District 6 Holstein Futurity recently held in conjunction with the District 6 Holstein Show in Monroe.
