Belleville Area EMS Open House

The Belleville Area EMS would like to invite you to attend their Open House on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the EMS Building. The Open House is held in conjunction with EMS Week (May 15 – 21, 2016). The open House will be held rain or shine.

Breakfast With Belleville Area EMS

Belleville Area EMS will be hosting a Community Garage Sale Breakfast with the EMS on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The breakfast will run from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and will be held at the EMS Building, 480 River Street.
The menu includes French Toast, Sausage Patties, Cinnamon Rolls and the “McRescue” sandwich (egg, sausage patty, cheese and hashbrowns on an English muffin).
Belleville Area EMS would like to thank the Sugar River Bank for their donation towards the breakfast.

The Perfect Mother's Day Gift

Dear Editor.
I used to ask my mother what she would like for Mother’s Day. Her answer was always the same, “I don’t need any more stuff.” But since we didn’t live near her home, I usually sent more stuff. How could she not appreciate the items I spent hours selecting just for her? Isn’t it amazing how time can change our perspective?

Mr. Eugene E. Webber, age 86 of New Glarus, WI, passed away at his home on April 26, 2016. He was born September 15, 1929, at Middleton, WI, the son Edward and Helena (Hohlstein) Webber.

LINUS H. LOEFFELHOLZ SR.

Mr. Linus Henry Loeffelholz Sr., age 89, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Heartsong in Belleville, WI. He was born February 27, 1927, at Dickeyville, WI, the son of Charles and Amelia (Salzman) Loeffelholz.
On June 27, 1951, he was united in marriage to Darlene Vondra. Linus was a farmer and truck driver. He was an excellent handler of mule teams.
