Pastor Mary Gafner was honored on Sunday, August 27, at an Open House held at TnD's Bar & Grill in Monticello. Pastor Gafner had announced her retirement and on that Sunday lead her final worship service at Washington Reformation Church. The large crowd of people were in attendance to celebrate her ministry and wish her well in retirement.

But all of that goodwill can be undone by scammers and identity thieves who set up traps on these apps with a goal of capturing users’ money and personal information.

Food safety officials today advised consumers not to eat some Brown Chicken Brown Cow Gourmet brand marinated mushrooms.
There have been no illnesses associated with these products, but they were processed without documenting food safety controls, according to the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection’s Division of Food Safety.

Monroe Martial Arts/New Glarus Tae Kwon Do had 19 students who qualified to represent the State of Wisconsin in the 2017 State Games of America in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on August 4-6, 2017. This event is an Olympic style event in which 48 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Canada participated, making this year's competition an International event. To qualify for the state games these athletes had to place first to third in the Badger State Games or place in the 2015 State Games, which were held in Nebraska.
