Tailgate Tour Happening Soon; Limited Tickets Still Available 

Tickets are still available for the 13th annual ‘Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour,’ set for April 10-14, which will travel throughout southern Wisconsin and the Milwaukee area to visit with fans and thank them in person for their support. 
The tour will make stops in Verona (April 10), Janesville (April 12), Milwaukee (April 13) and West Bend (April 14), with tailgate parties held in each city to support a local nonprofit organization.

Madox Mau Competes at State Youth Wrestling Tournament

Madox Mau 51 lbs and a 1st grader, competed Saturday, March 24, at the WWF state folkstyle Wrestling tournament.   He went 1-2 for the day for his first time at State competition.   Nice job Madox!

New Glarus Wins Over Argyle

The New Glarus Knights baseball team played at Evansville on Tuesday, March 27th. The Knights lost, 2-3.
Evansville was first on the scoreboard in the first inning. They scored again in the fifth and the Knights tied it up with two runs of their own in the sixth. In the bottom of the sixth, Evansville put a player across home plate to win.
Andrew Nimtz was 1-1 and had one run. Jared Carney scored the other point for the Knights.
Jared Carney, Andrew Nimtz and Noah Zimmerman all pitched for the Knights. Carney thew five strikeouts while Nimtz threw four.

Belleville Science Night

The Belleville Wildcat Science Night and Outdoors Club Soup Supper was held on Tuesday, March 13th. Spectators enjoyed several different presentations and a science show and could also purchase delicious soup to support the boundary waters trip fundraiser.

Blood Drive to be Held at New Glarus Brewing Company

Many people want to give back to the community but may not have a lot of time to volunteer. In only about an hour, volunteer blood donors can help save lives and feel instant gratification.
The community is invited to give back and help save lives by donating blood on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the New Glarus Brewing Company, 2400 State Road 69, New Glarus.

New Glarus Post Prom

This year we are planning a Post Prom trip to the newly opened Dave & Busters. The Post Prom Party will begin at 11:30 p.m., loading the buses for the trip and returning to New Glarus and be finished at 4:30 a.m., following Prom on May 5th.
Students that are interested should sign-up in the High School office. Prizes include choice of an iPad, laptop computer, TV and many other wonderful prizes.

Village of Monticello Spring Clean Up Day

<strong>All Items Must be Separated/Sorted and Curbside By 7:00 a.m., on Monday, April 16, 2018.</strong>
All debris, excluding brush, must be in an area not larger than 4’wide x 10’ long x 4’ high.
Items accepted are: Furniture and miscellaneous junk, burn barrels to be discarded must be empty, brush and scrap lumber with no tree limbs over 6” in diameter or 8’ in length – in separate pile stacked parallel with street, paint cans must be empty, or open with paint completely dried.

Monticello High School Post Prom 2018

The Monticello High School Post Prom Planning Committee is in the process of planning the 2018 Post Prom Party. This year the party, to be held following the Junior Prom on Saturday, April 21, 2018, will be held at the Monticello High School.
The students will be spending the night enjoying pizza, soda and a variety of activities, including a swimming, basketball and games at the Green County YMCA. The committee is dependent upon donations to help with providing a fun event and to keep our students safe during prom night.
