This year’s Junior Class of 2020 is planning for a stellar Prom! Parent and visitor tickets are $2.00, with High School student tickets $5.00 each.
Come join us this year for a trip around the world. There’ll be stops at the Taj Mahal, France, the Colosseum, the Amazon Rainforest, and Hollywood!
This Saturday on May 4th, 2019, doors open at 8:00 p.m., with the Grand March 8:30 p.m., the dance goes until 11:00 p.m. After the dance, students are eligible to go to the Kalahari for Post Prom for just $15.00 (New Glarus students and guests).

Teasdale Accepts Trustee Position in Monticello

The Monticello Village Board met on April 17, 2019, in the Village Hall Board Room. The meeting was called to order by Monticello Village President, Leaora Miller.
In the Public Appearances section of the meeting, Richard Peach spoke to the board about approval to place septic systems on property he owns and would like to sell. Currently sewer does not extend to the lot, but village water service does. Neighbors also have septic systems and use village water. Following a short discussion, the board approved the request.

Gempeler's Supermarket Earns Meat Awards

The exceptional quality of Alpine Boy™ sausage products, hand crafted by Gempeler's Supermarket, Monticello, was recognized at the 80th annual convention of the Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors (WAMP) held in Madison, April 4-7. In the Meat Product Competition held during the convention, Gempeler's Alpine Boy™ entries received awards in four product categories.

^Hollywood Under the Stars^" Monticello Junior Prom 2019"

This year’s Junior Class of 2020 has been working very hard in hopes of putting on an amazing prom! The theme for this year’s prom is titled Hollywood Under The Stars, and the dance will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, in the Rehmstedt Gym, with the Grand March starting at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open for spectators at 6:30 p.m.
The costs are $1.00 for spectators of the Grand March, $5.00 for a single person to get into the dance, and $8.00 for a couple to get into the dance.

Help Support Belleville Post Prom on May 4

Spring has arrived and the Belleville High School Prom is right around the corner! This year the school will once again sponsor a Post Prom party at Schwoegler’s Sugar River Lanes from midnight to 4:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 4. The post prom party has been a very successful safe haven for high school students for numerous years, and last year more than 170 students participated.

Primrose Lutheran Church Spring Luncheon

The women of Primrose Lutheran Church, 8770 Ridge Drive, Belleville, WI, are having their Spring, not Summer, Luncheon on Saturday, May 4, 2019. This is a change and one that will allow more folks to come and enjoy the day. The cost will be $8.00 and if you have questions, please the church at (608) 832-4435. The bazaar and bake sale will start at 11:00 a.m., in Fellowship Hall, with luncheon at Noon in lower dining room. The menu will include hot turkey and pork sandwiches, with salads, beverages and dessert. The program will start at 1:00 p.m., with Ron and Rosalie.

BHS Presents Annual Jazz in the Park Concert

The Belleville High School Jazz Ensemble and Vocal Jazz groups would like to invite you to our 5th Annual Jazz in the Park concert that will be performed on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at Library Park in downtown Belleville. Both groups will be performing a wide array of jazz and contemporary pop hits.

Annual Ag Plant Sale

Belleville High School is hosting a plant sale in the greenhouse on Thursday, May 9th, from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.; Friday, May 10th, from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.; and on Saturday, May 11th, from 8:00 a.m.-Noon.
All proceeds go towards funding future classes to help students continue this learning experience for years to come.
Flowers will be $3.00 and include Sweet Potato Vine-Black and Green, Juncus Twister, Maverick Star and Salmon Splash Geraniums, Purple Spikes, Grape Splash, Cherry Lace and Peach Cobbler Calibrachoa, Tropical Rose and Orchid Sunpatients and Marigolds.

Knights of Columbus Building Picnic Tables to Raise Funds

The Belleville Knights of Columbus Council #6630 is currently taking orders for picnic tables.
Last summer, the Knights decided to embark on a project to build and sell picnic tables in order to raise money to support various causes.
Several Knights donated their time to the project on weekends and evenings, and over the course of a few months built six tables - all of which were sold. They are building more tables this summer.
