Raiders Season Ends With Loss to Edgewood

And just like that....3+ months on the soccer field comes to an end. For the seniors, WHAT AN AMAZING RIDE!! Multiple conference and regional championships, state runner-up finish, and 20+ shutouts in 25 games. A grinding, bend-but-don't-break defense, and an astonishing goalkeeper. Thank you senior ladies, you will definitely be MISSED next season!!

Run for Fun Summer Track Meets for Kids

Join us at the Belleville High School track to participate in our summer program – Run for Fun. This is a program that all area youth (not just Belleville students), preschool age to entering 8th grade, can take part in.
Events that the youth may participate in include 25m, 75m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 1600m runs, relay, long jump, 18” hurdles and shot put. Some events are specific to the various age groups.

2019-2020 New Glarus Dairy Queen Crowned

Riley Keehn was crowned the 2019-2020 New Glarus Dairy Queen on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. The event was held at the New Glarus Legion Hall. The New Glarus Legion Auxiliary held their annual ice cream social at the same time. The 2018-2019 New Glarus Dairy Queen Libby Fuller, daughter of Ben and Laurie Fuller, thanked her mom, as well as the Green County Ag Chest, the American Legion Auxiliary, Rae Reeson, and her fellow Dairy Queens for their friendship and the fun memories.

State Bank of Cross Plains Grows to 15 Locations in Three Counties

With the merger closing scheduled for May 31st, State Bank of Cross Plains (SBCP) and Union Bank & Trust Company (UB&T) officially begin operating as one organization on June 1. The merged financial institutions will expand SBCP’s presence from 10 locations in Dane County to a combined 15 locations operating in Dane, Rock and Green counties, with total assets topping $1.25 billion.

Yoga Study for the Older Adult Population

Researchers at UW-Madison, in collaboration with the ADRC of Southwest Wisconsin, will be conducting a study to examine the effect of yoga on healthy aging.

Music In the Park

Area communities are announcing their summer concert schedules. Our only, and final, concert this year is going to be on August 11, 2019.
We sincerely appreciate all the support from everyone over the years. We especially want to acknowledge the Community Foundation for the financial support they have provided from the beginning in 2010. Without their grants we couldn’t have brought you these special concerts in the park.
