Wildcats Run in Platteville

The Belleville Wildcat Cross Country teams ran in soggy conditions at Platteville on Saturday. The rain began during the girls JV, which didn't stop Mady Herritz from getting a season PR with a time of 28:18! On Varsity, Lainey Winkers also had a season PR with a time of 21:53 for 14th place. Well done ladies!
The boys JV ended about 2 minutes after the gun went off, due to lightning. The Varsity boys, however, were able to run prior to the storm. Jordan Wilder led us with a time of 19:03, placing 20th, followed by Sean Campbell, placing 22nd with a time of 19:09.

New Glarus Places Second in Rio Tournament

New Glarus volleyball travelled to Wisconsin Heights on a dreary Tuesday night. The Knights struggled to find a rhythm in serve reception during the first two sets, both finishing 12-25.
Although storming outside, the third set provided the break in the rain that the Knights needed. Better passing forged the Knights to a 28-26 win. The 4th set was highly contested and competitive, and Wisconsin Heights ended up on top with a score of 25-17.
