Another year has come to a close for the 40th Annual Native American Indian Artifact Show, held this past weekend at Monticello. The show was very well attended. There were 90 tables filled with historic to pre-historic artifacts. People exhibit from Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
The Boy Scout Troop #106 had wonderful food. There were wonderful items brought in for identification.

The New Glarus Youth Committee is working on putting together Music Fest, Memorial Day Weekend 2020. Music Fest is beyond the confines of a singular tent and the entire village is invited to get involved. Both visitors and locals can listen to different types of music throughout downtown all weekend in both the street and participating businesses. A Youth Committee sponsored beverage stand and local food stands will also be available. Any type of business can participate by hosting or sponsoring musical performances.

The Chalet of the Golden Fleece greatly appreciates the participation of our local businesses in the New Glarus Wine Walk, which was held Friday evening, October 11th. Many thanks also to the local businesses generously donating door prizes. Of course, we thank the participants who came out in the cool weather.

These questions and others will be answered at the next Green County Master Gardeners Association meeting, being held on Thursday, October 24, 2019, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Green County Justice Center, Multi-Purpose Rooms, 2841 6th Street, Monroe.
