Community Invited to Veterans Day Programs

The annual Veterans Day Program, held at New Glarus High School, will take place in the New Glarus High School Gymnasium at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, November 11, 2019. A Veterans Appreciation Luncheon, hosted by the New Glarus High School Student Council, will follow the program in the Middle/High School Library Media Center.
The New Glarus Stuessy-Kuenzi Legion Post #141 be conducting their annual Veterans Day Program Monday, November 11, 2019, at the New Glarus Home Chapel, for the Veterans and members of the New Glarus Home. This program will start at 1:30 p.m.

Monticello community members and veterans are invited to attend the Veterans Day Program at 10:30 a.m., in the Rehmstedt Gym on Monday, November 11, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., to pay tribute to the men and women who have served our country.
There will be patriotic readings, music and poetry.

Belleville High School is proud to present the 2019 Fall Theater Festival. Join us for two amazing nights of One Act plays, monologues, songs AND improv comedy. This is the second year Belleville High School’s theater program has put on a fall production, and we are so excited to have our first performance in our newly renovated auditorium!

Belleville Edward Jones Office Supports Toys for Tots Drive

Tyson Hein, the local Edward Jones financial advisor, is supporting the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program by using his office as a drop-off location for this year’s toy drive.
Local residents may help needy children in the area by bringing in a new, unwrapped toy to the office at 1019 River St Suite 6 during regular business hours, beginning today through December 15th.

Bingo and Feather Party

Belleville American Legion Duppler-Smith Post #460 is hosting their annual Bingo and Feather Party on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
The doors open at 6:00 p.m., and Bingo will start around 7:00 p.m. All Bingo winners receive a turkey, plus an additional prize that has been donated by a local business. There will also be 50/50 raffles, food and refreshments.
All proceeds go to supporting our veterans and sponsorship of youth programs in our community.

Library Mafia Wins Eighth Annual Trivia Night

Congratulations to the Library Mafia, the 8th Annual Trivia Night Winners. Team members were Terry Schmitt, Linda Schmitt, Bob Hoffman, Denise Mussehl, Victor Pohl, Joyce Pohl, and Mary Gehin (not shown). Thank you to all who came to play trivia and support the Friends of the Belleville Public Library. We appreciate Schwoegler's Sugar River Lanes for giving us a place to play for so many years.

First United Church of Christ Annual Dinner

The Annual Church Dinner at First United Church of Christ, 130 E. Church Street in Belleville, will be held on Saturday, November 9th, serving from 4:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. There will also be a Gift Basket Raffle and Bake Sale.
The meal will be served family style and the menu includes Turkey, Sweet-Cured Ham, Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans, Coleslaw, Buns, Cheese, Homemade Pies, and Coffee/Milk.
