Preorder Community Club's Chicken Dinner Tickets

The Belleville Community Picnic was born from an idea in 1952 to gather the citizens of this small village and celebrate our vibrant volunteer spirit with a large picnic. Although, there are changes for this year’s Community Picnic. This year, the chicken dinners on August 9th will be offered as a drive-up/carry-out option only with delivery options available to those within the 53508 area code.

Curbside Meals Now Available at the Sugar River Senior Center

The Sugar River Senior Center is now offering curbside pick up of meals, along with home delivered meals, five days per week. Home delivered meals will be delivered by volunteers between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and you can do curbside pick up at Noon at the senior center.

Wildcat Softball Awards Presented at Senior Night

The Belleville Wildcats Softball team met recently for Senior Night in an outdoor setting. All senior softball players received their varsity certificate pins or letters.
There are six seniors, Jasmyne Roberts, Jenna Shrader, Ella Campbell, Maddy Weber, Josalyn Vorpahl, and Jillian Michaels.

More Than $160 Million in Transportation Aid for Local Governments Announced

Governor Tony Evers and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Secretary-designee Craig Thompson have announced more than $160 million in transportation aid for local governments as part of the governor’s 2019-21 biennial budget. Local governments will receive quarterly payments this week totaling $160,249,246 for General Transportation Aids (GTA), Connecting Highway Aids and Expressway Policing Aids from the WisDOT.

State Moratorium on Utility Disconnections During COVID-19 to End July 25

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) recently voted unanimously to lift the temporary moratorium on utility disconnections for nonpayment during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The move comes as the state continues to reopen and nearly a month after the state Supreme Court struck down Safer at Home. The PSC strongly encourages customers behind on payments to arrange for a payment plan, or apply for assistance.
