Monticello High School Blood Drive

The Monticello High School is hosting a Blood Drive on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., in the Rehmstedt Gym at the school, 334 S. Main Street in Monticello. By donating at this blood drive, you are helping one or more graduating seniors earn a scholarship.

The Ninth Annual Turkey Drop is Here

Please join the high school and middle school students in helping provide turkeys to those in need so that they too can have a happy “Turkey Day!”
Please help us reach our goal of 50 birds!! You can donate turkeys and other Thanksgiving meal fixings to Burreson’s, or come to the corner of Main Street and Frederick Street (the old parking lot of Francois Ford) to drop off your turkey on Friday, November 13, 2020, from 4:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Sarah Mullins, WWBIC Business Resource Coach, will focus on hearing local business reactions and needs, related to managing operations during a pandemic, as part of a free roundtable discussion series.

Belleville Community Giving Tree

The Giving Tree will take place this year with a few changes. For the safety of all involved, we will be collecting cash, check and online donations only. Your generous donations will be welcome through the month of November and will help families in the Belleville area that could use assistance with gift purchases for their children.

HEATHER K. EMBERSON

Heather K. (Brauer) Emberson, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Meriter Hospital in Madison while giving birth to her son, Maverick. She was born on July 20, 1976, the daughter of Kent and Nancy (Schultz) Brauer.
Heather grew up in Dayton and graduated from Belleville High School in 1994. She married Eric Emberson and they later separated. Heather had most recently worked as a laboratory technician at Minitube.

Scholarships valued at more than $870,000 were awarded to 394 University of Wisconsin-Stout students this academic year through the Stout University Foundation Inc. <strong>Lauren Christen</strong>, Belleville, Dietetics, has been awarded the Alan J. and Ellen E. Carlson Scholarship and the Dwight and Linda Nyhus Davis Scholarship.
