Wildcats White Out Night at Varsity Basketball Game

On December 7, 2021, the Belleville Wildcats will be taking on the Darlington Redbirds. The game will take place in the Belleville gymnasium located at 635 W. Church Street in Belleville, Wisconsin.
Throughout the game, there will be fun events such as a raffle, t-shirt throw, half court shots, and musical chairs. These events will be available to all who show up to the game. According to Maddi Desmet, “These events are always fun and it gets the crowd involved.”

Belleville Community Giving Tree 2021

Yes, it’s that time of year already! We will again be offering tags with gift suggestions for children in need in our community.
The tags will be available by Friday, November 19th, at the following locations: Belleville Chiropractic and Wellness, Belleville Hometown Pharmacy, Lingonberry Llama, Monona Bank-Belleville, State Bank of Cross Plains-Belleville, and the Bank of New Glarus-Belleville.

Kiwanis Club Supports the Red Kettles

The Kiwanis Club of Belleville is again participating to help ring bells for the Red Kettle Salvation Army holiday campaign. This has been a service project of the local club since 1983.
The Salvation Army provides life services to local families in need. The Red Kettle collections support shelter, food, jobs assistance and continuing education and programs for children. Belleville Kiwanis is honored to be able to help ring bells. We urge friends and community members to do the same at Burreson’s Foods or other Dane County locations.

Phillip C. Cox, age 74 of New Glarus, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born on January 28, 1947, in Monroe to his parents, Arlie and Loretta (Stuessy) Cox.

DR. TIMOTHY W. BRUNS, DVM

Dr. Timothy Bruns died unexpectedly at UW Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was 60. Tim was born on January 5, 1961, in Sterling, Illinois, to Robert and Jeannette (née Hinrichs) Bruns.

Merry and Bright in Belleville

Beautify Downtown Belleville along with numerous local businesses and sponsors present: Merry and Bright Belleville! A community lights display at Belleville Community Park.
The lights will turn on at dusk on December 12th. You will be able to drive through the lights from the 12th through the 17th at your leisure.
On December 18th, join us for an interactive community event at the park.
At 4:30 p.m., Santa will ride in on a fire truck! Then, enjoy hot cocoa, coffee, candy canes and treats while you walk through the lights display with your family.
