Heidi Folk Fest Presents Scholarships

The Heidi Folk Fest is honored to present scholarship checks to these outstanding students:
Christine Ott scholarships were awarded to Merrick Fong, University of New York; Jill Marty and Kaitlyn Peterson, Edgewood College; Kortney Peterson and Taylor Venden, Carroll University; Ty Ready, Wartburg College; Emily Trumble, UW Madison; and Cole Walter, UW La Crosse. Taylor Venden received the Heidi Scholarship for her participation in the Heidi play. Alexa Thayer received the Russell Monroe Scholarship for her interest in teaching.

New Glarus and Belleville Schools Collaborate on Fitness Challenge

Educators in the Belleville and New Glarus School Districts already understand the importance of collaboration, teamwork, motivation, fitness and sportsmanship. In an effort to put those characteristics further into practice and model for our students, the districts have come together for a Winter/Spring Fitness Challenge.

New Glarus Public Information Session

At its Village Board meeting on April 6th, at 7:00 p.m., the New Glarus Village Board will host a public information session regarding its public water system.
The session will include a presentation by Town and Country Engineering, which will include an overview of the Village water system, the future needs of the system, their recommendation for the construction of additional water storage facility and how water impact fees are used to assist in funding new infrastructure.

Monticello Easter Egg Hunt

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Monticello Village Park on Saturday, April 16, 2022, beginning at 10:30 a.m. sharp. Don’t be late or you’ll miss it!!
The youngest age group is 0-2 years and the oldest age group is fourth grade. The Easter Bunny will be present to greet the children and will also be available for photos.
We suggest that the children bring their favorite basket, wear appropriate footwear and dress accordingly.
