Support for Larson, Candidate for Green County Board of Supervisors 25th District

Dear Editor,
We have a wonderful opportunity this spring. The Green County Board of Supervisors has a newly created 25th district, with no incumbent.
Todd Larson, a son of rural Blanchardville, is running to represent our district. In addition to his local roots, Todd brings a wealth of national and international experience to the issues challenging Green County’s future growth and development. He manages his family property, Larson Farm, and understands the needs of our farmers and the importance of our agricultural community to the State of Wisconsin and the nation.

Sugar River Euchre

Much like the Big 10 Conference, any Sugar River Euchre League team can beat their opponent on any given night. That is exactly what happened this past week. The two top teams were knocked down a notch last Thursday night, thereby opening the door for an exciting final week of regular play. The door will be held wide open if Kleeman’s defends their home turf and defeats the Express. If that happens there is a very good chance of a four-way tie for first place, making a playoff necessary.
