Allen F. Luchsinger, age 79, died unexpectedly on August 27, 2022, in New Glarus, WI. He was born on January 21, 1943, the son of Fred W. and Hazel E. (Bear) Luchsinger.

Troop 106 Takes Camping Trip to Michigan

Troop 106 traveled up to the UP of Michigan on August 3rd for a 5-day trip of planned activities and some well-deserved rest from a busy summer.
The Scouts camped at the property of Bob and Sharon Martinson, grandparents of Scout Graham Byrd. Upon arrival, the scouts set up camp along the lakefront and enjoyed their first sunset on Lake Michigan.

Monticello FFA Alumni 40th Anniversary Celebration

All FFA, FFA Alumni and Supporters are welcome to celebrate the Monticello FFA Alumni’s 40th Anniversary. The celebration will be held at Gempeler Farms, N6130 Pierce Road, Monticello, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Join us for lunch and social time, a kids pedal tractor pull at 2:00 p.m., autumn photo opportunities, an antique tractor display and hayrides.

The Monticello High School Class of 1972 held their 50th Class Reunion on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Apparitions Club House. Twenty-five classmates attended.

Flag Ceremony

Stuessy-Kuenzi Post 141 of the American Legion will have a Flag Ceremony at Veteran’s Hall on Wednesday, September 14th, beginning at 6:00 p.m., to provide dignified disposal of unserviceable flags of all types.
This ceremony will be open to the public and any unserviceable, worn or tattered flags may be deposited prior to the ceremony in the Flag Drop Box that is always located near the front door of Veteran’s Hall.
