Sugar River Euchre

Hang on, it looks like we’re in for one heck of a ride this year. The second week was more spectacular than the first. We had several perfect scores, three teams that didn’t have a single couple reach 100 and a 68 for a low score.
Cowboys Roger Olstad and Dave Willborn aimed to keep the Ope Haus Pub out of the station with their 118 shots placed squarely in the boiler of the Express. Unable to keep much pressure in the boilers, the best the Express could produce was just 89 PSI out of one of their four couples. The Cowboys easily rode to a 78-point win.

Duppler-Smith Post #460 American Legion to Hold Raffle

Duppler-Smith Post #460 American Legion in Belleville has made the decision for the third year in a row not to hold our yearly Feather Party/Bingo in November. COVID poses too much risk to ask people to attend in our building at this time. We would also like to give the local businesses another year to recover economically from the hardship of the Pandemic. The American Legion urges everyone to support local business and charitable organizations in the area. That is why, in good conscience, we cannot ask for donations at this time to support our community wide Feather Party.
