'Tis the season for giving, and the Green Bay Packers Foundation is no different! This organization has readily given back to Wisconsin communities from its onset in 1986, and the School District of Belleville is grateful for its recent generosity. On December 8th, District Administrator Nate Perry joined other selected grant recipients at a guest luncheon in the Lambeau Field Atrium to receive a check for $5,000 to help provide additional opportunities for his school district.
Russell Tollefson, age 89, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born on February 18, 1933 in the Town of Vermont, a son of Leonard and Elizabeth (Jenni) Tollefson.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) caught 202,300 spongy moths (formerly named gypsy moth) in 10,044 traps this summer as part of the federal Slow the Spread of the Spongy Moth Program.

Throughout the month of December, residents and visitors to New Glarus will be able to view Adventsfensters throughout New Glarus. Up until Christmas (December 1-24), all over the village there will be 24 locations who will decorate one or more of their windows in a holiday/winter theme. During the decoration process and until the window is publicly revealed, the design stays hidden. Every evening a window will be revealed at a set time. People will be invited to gather in front of the building and how the window is revealed is up to the ^window-opener.^" Many times
On November 29th, Belleville eighth grade students participated in FutureQuest, a hands-on event at the Alliant Energy Center to give students opportunities to interact with professionals from all career clusters from Dane County and surrounding school districts. What they may not have expected was to find other Wildcats on the other side of the tables introducing them to career paths they discovered at the same event not so long ago!
