Raider Wrestlers Sending Six to Sectionals

The Raiders placed third out of 13 at Regionals, missing out of team Sectionals by 3.5 points.
The Raiders six Sectional Qualifiers include Blake Endres, 2nd; Mason Mau, Champ; Eli Leonard, Champ; Ryker Swenson, 3rd; Alex Zielinski, 4th; Carson Loshaw, 2nd. Also placing in the top 6 was Ashlin Mihlbauer, 5th (1st Alternate); and Isaac Erb, 6th.
Sectionals take place next Saturday at Evansville High School.
Coach Swenson says, ^This TEAM means Together Everyone Achieves More! They continue to do this week after week. They have continued to reach new heights each week

Round Up Fundraiser at Roy's Raises Money for New Glarus Cares

Roy's Market in New Glarus announced that through the generous donations of their customers and staff they are presenting a check to New Glarus Cares for $2,584.25 in support of the group's efforts to preserve the green space adjacent to Candy Cane Park.
Ron Anderson, store manager of Roy's Market, stated, ^The participation in our Round-Up fundraiser has been overwhelmingly positive. We are proud to be a part of such a generous community.^"

February 2023 Meeting of the Monticello Area Historical Society

The Monticello Area Historical Society (MAHS) will meet at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Zwingli UCC, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.

The Green County Family YMCA and the Colony Brands Foundation are moving forward on a $30 million campaign that both organizations agree will transform the future of the YMCA. As the centerpiece of the Building a Stronger Community Capital Campaign, the YMCA building will be renovated and enlarged to meet the ever-changing needs of YMCA patrons.
