Monticello Homecoming will kick off on Friday, July 7th, with softball and mud volleyball tournaments as well a Wristband Special for carnival rides, $20, from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (the only wristband special over the weekend). The Lions Food Stand opens Friday at 4:00 p.m., and starting at 5:00 p.m., at the shelter house by the lake, come down and get a delicious Pork BBQ meal prepared by the Zwingli Pit Masters of the Zwingli Brotherhood.
The Homecoming celebration is sponsored by the Monticello Community Club, the Village of Monticello, and the Monticello Chamber of Commerce. The Monticello Community Club is a local organization that has been in existence for over 80 years.
