2015 Green County Dairy Days in Albany

Green County Dairy Days is getting ready to kick off the 2015 season with events in and around this year’s host, Albany.
This year’s Queen’s Banquet will be hosted by last year’s Dairy Queen, local Albany resident, Sayde McDermott. The banquet will be held in the form of a Brunch on Saturday, June 27th, beginning with Moo-Tails at 9:00 a.m., at the Albany Lions Club Building at 402 N. Cincinnati St in Albany.
Following the Queen’s Brunch will be activities in downtown Albany, such as an arts and crafts show, a “Taste of Albany” food sampling, various sidewalk sales and the City-Wide Garage Sale.
The parade will begin downtown at 1:30 p.m., with the coronation to follow.
The day will conclude with the coronation of the new Dairy Queen. This will be held in the park across from the Albertson Memorial Library immediately following the parade.
