4-H Cloverbud Kits Offer Flexibility for Families

Looking for a way to keep your Kindergartener, 1st grader or 2nd grader occupied, engaged and entertained this winter? The Green County 4-H Cloverbud Committee has planned a 3-activity Cloverbud kit for youth in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Activities will include Friendship Rocks, Fruit Batteries and Wind Pin Wheels.
Green County 4-H is especially excited to be able to offer this kit in whatever format works best for your family – in person, virtual, or on your own. An in-person, small group workshop will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021, from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., at the Green County Justice Center with limited spots available to promote social distancing. Three virtual workshops will be held via Zoom on Tuesdays, February 16th, February 23rd and March 2nd, at 6:00 p.m., for those more comfortable in their own homes. Finally, families can also choose to complete the activities on their own when it is convenient for them.
The activities in the Cloverbud kit are designed for youth in 5-year-old Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Youth do not have to be enrolled in 4-H to participate. Cost is $5.00 per child, which will include a kit with most supplies needed to complete the activities. Financial assistance is available should the cost be a barrier to participation.
