Adventsfensters Returning to New Glarus This Year

Adventsfensters, the life-size Advent calendar, are returning to New Glarus this holiday season. Common in the smaller towns and villages of Switzerland, New Glarus resident Jackie Judd brought them to life here last year.
The reveals begin on Sunday, December 1st. Businesses participating include Roy’s Market, Cow & Quince, Ott Haus, the New Glarus Fire Department, the Bank of New Glarus, Sisters and New Rose, the New Glarus Police Department, Touch of Relief, the New Glarus Village Hall, Sugar River Pizza, Swiss United Church of Christ, the New Glarus Town Hall, The Vault, Brenda’s Blumenladen, Sugar River Shoppe, Kristi’s, the Glarner Stube, Fat Cat Coffee Works, Ticino Pizzeria, Esther’s European Imports, Shear Concepts, New Glarus Area EMS and the New Glarus Chamber will reveal a window the same night as the tree lighting.
