The Albany Community Family Promise Benefit planning has commenced. The benefit will be held on August 22nd, at the Albany Village Park from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
To help follow the progress of the benefit, two large signs have been built by local Mike Alexander and painted by the Albany Schools Art Classes. The billboards show our goal of $5,000 that we’d like to reach by the end of the benefit.
As we are showing, the only way to combat family homelessness is through communities coming together and working to help those in need through programs such as Family Promise of Green County.
Our float was recently in the Albany Yesteryears Parade and featured signage with the words LOVE, SUPPORT, COMPASSION, HOPE, COMMUNITY, ENCOURAGE, THOUGHTFUL, NOBLE, CHARITY, KINDNESS, PROMISE, and GENEROSITY. It also displayed beautiful flower arrangements by Parrfection Produce of Albany.
Thank you to all the unnamed people in our local community for all of their assistance in making this benefit a reality. It shows just how important community is in our world today. Please help us make our benefit a success.
Donations are being accepted at the Town Bank of Albany. Checks can be written to Hilltop Church Family Promise Benefit. If sending a check, mail to Town Bank, PO Box 67, Albany, WI 53502.
