Belleville Downtown Cookie Walk and Holiday Tree Lighting

The Village of Belleville is creating a new holiday tradition. On December 7, 2019, at 4:00 p.m., come to Library Park, pick up a ballot, and stroll down Main Street to visit businesses, get cookies, and view their decorated windows.
Return your vote for the best window to Library Park by 5:00 p.m. Santa will be there to greet you and you can warm up with hot cocoa. Then gather around the gazebo.
From 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we will listen to a local bell choir, sing carols led by the high school jazz ensemble (song sheets will be provided), light the tree, and enjoy a reading of The Night Before Christmas. Your ballots will be counted, and Santa will announce the winner of the window contest.
The event is sponsored by Beautify Downtown Belleville and the Friends of the Belleville Public Library, with lots of help from Belleville Busy Beavers 4-H Club, Belleville Kiwanis, Belleville Public Library, Belleville High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble, First United Church of Christ Bell Choir, Girl Scout Troop 1531, Jon and Sonya Tourdot, and the Sugar River Senior Center.
We thank all the participating businesses. Come join us for this holiday event!
