Blue Jay Invite Results for Sugar River Track

The Sugar River track team participated in the Blue Jay Invite at Cambridge on April 12th. The boys team finished in fourth place with 92 points, while the girls team finished in second with 115 points.
<strong>Girls Results</strong>
In the 100M dash, Kiara Donnell placed 2nd with a time of 13.12. Placing 12th was Heidi Wegehaupt with a PR time of 14.42 and Kyla Jerome placed 19th with a PR time of 15.11.
Placing 2nd in the 200M dash was Kiara Donnell with a time of 27.64. Dylan Noll placed 11th with a PR time of 31.18.
Lily Himmelmann won the 400M dash with a PR time of 1:06.19. Placing 8th was Dylan Noll with a PR time of 1:12.66, while Emily Streiff placed 15th with a PR time of 1:21.08.
In the 800M run, Nina Schiro placed 11th with a time of 2:58.07 while Kyla Jerome placed 14th with a PR time of 3:04.40.
Placing 5th in the 1600M run was Molly Molencamp, with a time of 6:40.68.
Freshman Tayler Yapp won the 3200M run with PR time of 13:09.78, while Gabby Whisler placed 4th with a time of 13.42.72 and Emily Streiff placed 7th with a PR time of 15:51.77.
In the 100M hurdles, Emily Bartow placed 2nd with a PR time of 17.87. Bartow placed 3rd in the 300M hurdles, with a time of 52.46.
The 4x100 relay team, consisting of Erin Kittleson, Jade Halvensleben, Heidi Wegehaupt and Kiara Donnell, placed 2nd with a time of 54.16.
In the 4x400 relay, the team consisting of Emily Bartow, Nina Schiro, Erin Kittleson and Lily Himmelmann placed 4th in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:44.28.
Placing 2nd in the 4x800 relay was the team of Molly Molencamp, Nina Schiro, Gabby Whisler and Tayler Yapp, with a time of 11:37.39.
In the shot put event, Haiden Zimmerman placed 4th with a throw of 29-06.00. Alexa Thayer placed 14th with a PR of 24-03.00 while Megan Mahlkuch placed 15th with a PR of 23-09.00.
Placing 4th in the discus event was Haiden Zimmerman, with a throw of 98-11. Alexa Thayer placed 14th with a PR of 67-10 and Nina Schiro placed 15th with a 65-05.
In the high jump, Katie Bowers placed 4th with her PR of 4-10.00, while Lily Himmelmann placed 6th with her jump of 4-06.00.
In the pole vault, Heidi Wegehaupt placed 4th with a 7-00.00.
In the long jump, Jade Halvensleben placed 3rd with 14-06.00 and Kennedy Dreger placed 11th with a PR of 13-01.50.
In the triple jump, Jade Halvensleben placed 6th with a 29-06.75 while Kennedy Dreger placed 10th with a PR of 25-07.00.
<strong>Boys Results</strong>
In the 100M dash, Sawyer Fahey placed 9th with a PR of 12.24, Luke Judd placed 12th with a time of 12.60 and Eddie Fraire placed 13th with a time of 12.84.
Placing 3rd in the 200M dash was Dalton Fahey, with a time of 23.49. JJ Wenger placed 8th with a PR time of 24.61.
Dalton Fahey won the 400M dash with a time of 52.47, while Josh Grebel tied for 5th with a PR time of 55.46 and Chase Messner tied for 9th with a PR time of 58.06.
In the 800M run, Conor McCoy placed 6th with a PR of 2:19.52, while Matteo Latorre placed 12th with a PR of 2:26.09 and Joshua Bowers placed 14th with a time of 2:27.38.
In the 1600M run, Caden O’Rourke placed 8th with a time of 5:13.56, while Sean Campbell placed 13th with a PR of 5:20.28 and Joshua Bowers placed 14th with a PR of 5:26.43.
In the 3200M run, Adam Nelson placed 3rd with a time of 11:21.01, Tyler Stampfl placed 4th with a PR of 11:31.92 and Julian Fullbright placed 7th with a PR of 11:36.24.
Cole Myers won the 110M hurdles with a time of 15.90, while Sean McDermott placed 7th with a PR of 21.37.
In the 300M hurdles, Cole Myers placed 3rd with a time of 44.67 and Sean McDermott placed 11th with a PR of 54.46.
The team of Nick Schult, Milo Hoesly, Sawyer Fahey and Jared Schulting placed 3rd in the 4x100 relay, with a time of 47.59.
In the 4x200 relay, the team of Nick Schult, Luke Judd, Milo Hoesly and Jared Schulting placed 3rd with a time of 1:39.72.
Placing 3rd in the 4x400 relay was the team of Cole Myers, Caden O’Rourke, JJ Wenger and Dalton Fahey, with a time of 3:41.83.
In the 4x800 relay, the team of Matteo Latorre, Conor McCoy, Adam Nelson and Caden O’Rourke placed 2nd with a time of 9:05.83.
In the shot put event, Eric Segura placed 17th with a 32-10.00, Jesse Tetner placed 21st with a 30-10.00 and Matthew Zierl placed 22nd with a 30-08.00.
In the discus, Jesse Tetner placed 13th with his throw of 100-03, Matthew Zierl placed 20th with a throw of 85-03 and Eric Segura placed 26th with a throw of 70-04.
In the high jump event, Jacob Shrader placed 2nd with a 5-08.00.
In the long jump, Jared Schulting placed 5th with a 17-11.25 and JJ Wenger placed 6th with a PR of 17-08.75, while Sawyer Fahey placed 9th with a PR of 16-06.00.
In the triple jump, Josh Grebel placed 10th with a PR of 32.10.
The team has a meet at Lake Mills on Tuesday, April 24th and then travels to Oregon on Friday, April 27th.
