DAR Good Citizen Awards Presented

The Colonel Benjamin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met Tuesday, April 12th, at Pizza Hut in Monroe to celebrate the Good Citizen students.  
The DAR Good Citizen program encourages and rewards the highest qualities of good citizenship among high school seniors: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
Jacquelyn Mosely, from Darlington High School, won the essay contest for the local chapter and placed third in the state contest.  She read her essay to the group.

Other participants who could not attend the lunch were Devin Kaiser, Cuba City High School; Katherine Demianiuk, Monroe High School; Emily Koch, Monticello High School; Devyn Wieser, New Glarus High School; Sarah Saether, Pecatonica High School; Joseph Lyne, Shullsburg High School; and Isaac Welsh, Brodhead High School.
