Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash in Jefferson Township

At about 1:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Green County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with the Juda Fire Department, responded to a report of a car on fire along Middle Juda Road, about .5 mile west of Richland Road. Upon further investigation, Deputies concluded that a driver was operating a vehicle traveling west on Middle Juda Road. The vehicle left the roadway and traveled into the north ditch. The vehicle then hit a tree. The vehicle caught fire. The driver, identified as Hunter J. Harrison, 18, Juda, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Green County Coroner’s Office. The investigation cites speed as a factor in the crash.
