Friends of the New Glarus Library Trivia Contest

As we mentioned last week, the Friends are having our trivia contest again. This year we feel safe doing this face-to-face. We won’t be requiring masks while you’re seated with your team, but recommend you bring them along for interacting with other teams, visiting the restrooms, etc. This is your chance to razz the other teams directly, or see their faces as your team triumphs. Or maybe almost triumphs in one of the 6 rounds in this family friendly competition.
Come to Veterans Park shelter on Sunday, May 30. Registration will be at 1:00 p.m., and we will get rolling at 1:30 p.m. There is no entry fee, we are asking for donations so the Friends can continue to support the library and some of its programs. There will be some extra tables so each team can be distanced. Bring your own chairs if you like. We will have a PA speaker so all can hear announcements.
Prizes, you ask? Yes, for the first, second and third place teams, as we’ve done in the past. Do note that there is no rain date but we have our fingers crossed for cooperative weather.
