Grants Awarded by New Glarus Community Fund and New Glarus Excellence in Education Fund

At a recent reception at the New Glarus Hotel, over $18,000 was awarded to area organizations. This brings the total given since 1996 the New Glarus Community Fund and New Glarus Excellence in Education Fund in excess of $326,000 in grants to area organizations for 236 projects.

New Glarus Vision – Krafty Kids – Supplies; New Glarus Historical Society – Clothing and Costume Display and Hall of History Consultant; Chalet of the Golden Fleece - Front Porch Repairs and Art Restoration; Wilhelm Tell Guild – Replace Underground well pipe at Tell Shooting Barn and Usherette Costume Storage and Replacement; Southwest Community Action Program – New Glarus Food for Kids Program; School District of New Glarus – Middle School, Wyalusing Trip and Elementary School, Blankets for Compassion.
