Homecoming Thank Yous

What a wonderful weekend. The weather was perfect and everyone had a good time.  The Monticello Lions wish to thank anyone and everyone who supported our cheese curd stand. If you worked a shift, bought some cheese curds or mushrooms, we thank you. We appreciate your support and help. Any profit earned goes toward helping school projects, scholarships and anyone who needs an extra friend or support. We also donate to the many state Lions’ causes such as the Camp at Rosholt, WI, Hope Transplant House or the Wisconsin Eye Bank, just to name a few.
The Monticello Lionesses wish to thank everyone also for their support and help. If you worked a shift, bought your dinner or made a pie or two, we thank you. We also wish to thank Kenny Gempeler and Julia for all their service. They are always willing to help. It takes a lot of manpower and cooperation from many people to run a food stand and the Lionesses appreciate any and all help and support.
Monticello Lions and Monticello Lioness Clubs

What a great parade! Lots of fun entries! I believe the highlights were Bucky Badger and the Monticello Pony. They both were wandering around before and after the parade.
We couldn’t do a parade without the generous donations we receive. A BIG thank you to Nancy Briggs, Ruth Sybers, Green Pastures, Kubly Tire and Service, Rebecca Seffrood, Monticello Lionesses, Tri-Insure, ATV Club and Mt. Pleasant-Perry Insurance.  Parades are more expensive than one thinks, so with these donations it helps offset the cost of being able to have such a fun parade.
Thanks also goes out to Renee Nicholson and Trent and Alexa Siegenthaler for assisting Melissa to ensure the parade ran smoothly.  Thank you to Jim McNeill for being the emcee again this year, and Dan Klitzke for once again setting up the sound equipment.
Thank you to the many spectators on the parade route, you ultimately make the parade happen.  See you next year.
Sincerely,
Melissa Anderson and Kay Freitag,
Parade Committee

I hope all who attended the 30th anniversary of the Annual Variety Show enjoyed it as much as I did. Once again, we had great acts. Thank you to all of the entertainers. Also, thank you to Harvey Kubly for being the emcee for almost 30 years, Carolyn Hilliard for playing piano, Tammy and Danny Wirth for allowing us to use the great venue of TnD’s, and Danny Klitzke for being our sound man for almost 30 years.
Watch for us again next year Friday night of Homecoming. Thank you also to the many who attended, we need you to make this a successful and fun filled evening.
