Klassy's Photography to Be Exhibited at Marƶeń

Marƶeń is pleased to present the photography of Alex Connelly, Todd Klassy, Brent Nicastro and Mark Weller from June 2, 2015 through June 27, 2015, at 2345 Atwood Avenue, Madison, WI. The opening reception will be held Friday, June 5th, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Marƶeń’s photographers bring their unique styles together to masterfully demonstrate the breadth of photography through technique and form. This show is a synthesis of new and seasoned talent depicting subjects varying from breathtaking landscapes to avant-garde abstraction.
Alex Connelly is a multi-disciplinary artist from Madison, WI. He completed his BFA at The University of Vermont with a focus in photography, painting and mixed-media. The colors he uses are vibrant and nourishing with imagery that is a meditation on composition. Throughout all his disciplines there is a common search for the creative truth.
Todd Klassy is photographer, multimedia producer, and professional storyteller. He was raised on a farm outside of New Glarus, WI, and spent many of his formative years in and around Madison and traveling through the rural parts of the Midwest while photographing them.
Brent Nicastro has been a Madison based freelance editorial photographer since the late 1970s, whose work has appeared in more than 400 publications worldwide, including Time, People, Money, USA Today, Elle and The New York Times. His photos showcase the energy and pure beauty of Madison, Wisconsin.
Mark Weller is a Wisconsin native. Born and raised in the Lake Michigan port town of Manitowoc, he was educated at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and spent his early professional career making films in Alaska. His photos celebrate the exquisiteness and drama of our skies; whether through sun drenched clouds or the magnificence of the night sky imbued with the Milky Way.
Marƶeń is located in the lovely Atwood Avenue neighborhood at 2345 Atwood Ave. Our hours are Tuesday-Friday, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 12:00 p.m.-4:oo p.m. We look forward to seeing you!
