Knights Defeat Brodhead/Juda

The New Glarus baseball team, who is seeded #6 for post-season play, defeated the #3 seeded team, Brodhead/Juda, on May 23rd, 13-8 in extra innings.
The teams were tied at the bottom of the 1st and Brodhead/Juda inched ahead by 1 run by the 5th inning. The Knights tied it up in the 6th and it stayed that way until the 11th inning when New Glarus sent 6 runners home to win it.
Connor Siegenthaler was 4x6 at bat, scoring 1 run with 4 RBI while Peyton Mendleski was 3x5 at bat with 2 runs scored and Darris Schuett was 3x6 at bat scoring 2 runs with 1 RBI. Cooper Dreyfus scored 3 runs, Reeve Binger scored 2 runs and Ben Melvin, Nathan Streiff and Carter Siegenthaler all scored 1 run each.
On the mound for New Glarus was Ben Melvin, who pitched 1 inning with 1 strike out, Peyton Mendleski who pitched 6 innings with 3 strike outs and Carter Siegenthaler who pitched 4 innings and struck out 7.
New Glarus faced #2 Parkview on May 28th.
