Knights Ground Blue Jays and Cardinals

On April 26th, the New Glarus Glarner Knights baseball team played at Cambridge. Taking an early lead, the Knights went on to win the game, 4-1.
Brennan Butler and Easton Dreyfus were both 1x3 for New Glarus, and Ethan Friedrich and Dylan Fritz scored the other 2 runs.
Leyton Mihlbauer and Eli Zimmerman pitched for the Knights, with Mihlbauer striking out 5 and Zimmerman striking out 1.
On April 30th, the Knights played at Brodhead. Brodhead took an early lead, but New Glarus tied it up in the 6th and the game went into extra innings until New Glarus scored 6 runs in the 10th to win it, 8-2.
Ethan Friedrich was 2x5 for the Knights with 2 runs scored, while Leyton Mihlbauer was 2x6 with 1 run scored and Patrick Alt was 1x4 with 1 run scored. Brennan Butler, Jake Roth, Brett Warrell and Zander Hauser scored the other runs for New Glarus.
Pitching for New Glarus was Patrick Alt and Brett Warrell. Warrell struck out 4 while Alt struck out 3.
New Glarus hosted Marshall on May 3rd. They will host Wisconsin Heights on May 5th and play at Warner Park against Edgewood on May 6th.
