Lady Knights Continue Historic Season

On Tuesday, January 10th, the New Glarus Lady Knights hosted the Lady Wildcats. Taking a 46-16 lead into halftime, the Knights held the Wildcats to just 10 points in the second while adding 20 of their own towards their 66-26 victory.
Lindsey Schadewalt scored 27 points for New Glarus, along with 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block, while Grace Nommensen scored 13 points and had 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal and Alex Atwell scored 9 points and had 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 5 blocks.
For Belleville, Maddi DeSmet led the team with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block, while Mikayla Caskey scored 4 points and had 2 rebounds and 1 block and Lainey Winkers, Ellie Doyle, Toria Devoe and Demyla Conner all scored 3 points. Winkers had 4 rebounds, Doyle had 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block, Devoe had 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals and Conner had 1 steal.
On January 13th, the Knights headed to Wisconsin Heights to face the Lady Vanguards. New Glarus led at the half 30-15, and scored 42 more points in the second half to get the win. The final score was New Glarus 72, Wisconsin Heights 38.
Alex Atwell led New Glarus with 21 points, along with having 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 steals and 6 blocks, while Lindsey Schadewalt scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and Grace Nommensen scored 13 points and had 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.
New Glarus plays at Marshall on January 19th, hosts Belmont on January 21st, plays at Cambridge on January 23rd and hosts Cambridge on January 27th.
