Lady Knights One of Six Undefeated Teams in the State

The varsity Lady Knights of New Glarus played at Marshall on January 19th. Leading by 10 at the half, the Knights spent the second half outscoring Marshall 43-14 to land a commanding win. The final score was New Glarus 75, Marshall 37.
Lindsey Schadewalt scored 27 points to lead New Glarus and had 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block, while Grace Nommensen scored 16 points with 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal and Elle Lancaster scored 15 points and had 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.
On January 21st, New Glarus hosted Belmont. Up 46-19 at the half, New Glarus kept their lead in the second half to win the game. The final score was New Glarus 73, Belmont 44.
Leading the Lady Knights with 24 points was Lindsey Schadewalt, who also had 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Alex Atwell scored 13 points with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 5 blocks and Grace Nommensen put 11 points on the board and had 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.
On January 24th, New Glarus plays at Cambridge before hosting Cambridge on January 27th. They will host Mount Horeb on January 30th and play at Belleville on February 2nd.
