Monroe Clinic Immunization Schedule

Each year, hundreds of community members take advantage of Monroe Clinic’s seasonal flu clinics. In order to maximize your ability to stay healthy, everyone six months and older should receive a flu shot. The high-dose influenza vaccine, Fluzone High-Dose, designed specifically for people 65 years and older, is also available. Studies have shown the high-dose vaccine offers older adults a better immune response, and better protection against the flu.
The flu vaccine is $25. For those who qualify, the high-dose influenza vaccine is available for $60. The pneumonia vaccine is available upon request. Cash, check or credit card will be accepted for payment. For convenience, patient’s insurance company may be billed. Individuals are encouraged to wear a shirt with sleeves that easily roll up or short sleeves when receiving their vaccine.
Monroe Clinic flu clinics are available throughout the area – including our local branch clinics. Flu vaccinations are also available at the Monroe Clinic Pharmacy location during regular hours on a walk-in basis. For specific times and dates, visit www.monroeclinic.org/fluclinic.
