Monroe/New Glarus Out-Swims Mount Horeb

On September 20th, the M/NG swim team hosted Mount Horeb. The final score of the meet was Monroe/New Glarus 100, Mount Horeb 67.
In the 200M Medley Relay, the team of Amelia Geib, Piper Faber, Riley Hoesly and Danika Doll finished 2nd with a time of 2:21.03, while the team of Kristina Foley, Brinlee Chapman, Alexis Elgin and Abby Ryan finished 3rd with a time of 2:57.86.
Megan Chapman won the 200M Freestyle event with a time of 2:17.14, while Delaney Lynch finished 3rd with a time of 2:24.69 and Kristina Foley finished 5th with a time of 2:45.44.
Anna Zentner won the 200M IM with a time of 2:43.01, while Amelia Geib finished 3rd with a time of 2:45.35.
In the 50M Freestyle, Riley Hoesly finished 2nd with a time of 29.89, while Piper Faber finished 3rd with a time of 32.66 and Amalia Morrison finished 4th with a time of 33.88.
Delaney Lynch won the 100M Butterfly with a time of 1:12.39 and Anna Zentner finished 2nd with a time of 1:13.44.
In the 100M Freestyle, Piper Faber finished 2nd with a time of 1:10.89, while Amalia Morrison finished 3rd with a time of 1:18.49 and Kristina Foley finished 4th with a time of 1:18.90.
Megan Chapman won the 400M Freestyle with a time of 4:49.66, while Danika Doll finished 3rd with a time of 5:36.44.
The team of Anna Zentner, Megan Chapman, Delaney Lynch and Piper Faber won the 200M Freestyle Relay with a time of 2:02.42, while the team of Amalia Morrison, Alexis Elgin, Brinlee Chapman and Abby Ryan finished 3rd with a time of 2:31.32.
Riley Hoesly won the 100M Backstroke with a time of 1:14.30, while Amelia Geib finished 2nd with a time of 1:15.36.
In the 100M Breaststroke, Maggie Piper finished 2nd with a time of 1:35.25, while Danika Doll finished 4th with a time of 1:36.62 and Brinlee Chapman finished 6th with a time of 1:55.01.
The 400M Freestyle Relay team of Delaney Lynch, Anna Zentner, Riley Hoesly and Megan Chapman won the event with a time of 4:26.04. Finishing in 2nd place with a time of 5:01.72, was the team of Amelia Geib, Kristina Foley, Amalia Morrison and Danika Doll.
On September 27th, the Cheesemakers swam at Portage. They will host Sauk Prairie on October 4th and swim at McFarland on October 11th.
