All items for Monticello’s Fall Clean Up must be separated/sorted and curbside by 7:00 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021.
All debris, excluding brush, must be in an area not larger than four feet wide by ten feet long by four feet high.
Debris accepted are furniture and miscellaneous junk, paint cans (empty or open with paint dried), empty burn barrels, metal and appliances and all small loose articles, which must be placed in an open, disposable container.
Brush and scrap lumber, with no tree limbs over 6” in diameter or 8’ in length, must be in a separate pile stacked parallel with the street.
No closed bags, boxes or containers of any kind will be picked up. No construction materials will be picked up. All containers used to hold debris will be discarded. No propane tanks or cylinders will be picked up. No tires, regular garbage or recyclable items or e-waste (electronic items) will be picked up.
Ashes, recyclables, rock, brick, cement, garden debris, leaves and dirt can be disposed of at the recycling center during recycling center hours. The Monticello Recycling Center is open from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and is located behind the cheese factory on E. Coates Avenue.
