National Honor Society and SkillsUSA Join Forces for Food Drive

2020 has been a difficult year, and for many, the need for donations is greater than ever. New Glarus National Honor Society and SkillsUSA are collaborating this year in the attempt to make at least one thing go right in 2020 - putting nutritional security in place for those who need it. There will be many ways to give!
Those living near New Glarus should receive a flyer on the twenty-first of November. For those that do, members will be by to pick up food donations on the November 28th. Just leave food for donations out around noon in bags for volunteers to pick up.
There will also be a drop box outside the New Glarus High School from the November 30 through December 3rd. Can’t part with your snacks? Essentials, such as shampoo, toothpaste, and deodorant, are also needed!
Finally, you can donate directly at gf.me/u/y8mrqq. All donations go directly to Green Cares Food Pantry in Monticello.
High School students may also earn Senior Service Project Hours for food donated, in light of recent interruptions of usual service. Every five donations counts as one hour! Email Mr. Taylor at kyland.taylor@ngsd.k12.wi.us for information and forms.
