New Glarus High School to Present ^The Drowsy Chaperone^"

Congratulations! You are all invited to attend the wedding of the century! The famous Janet Van De Graff (Abigail Lahey) will be giving up a life of glamour to marry simpleton, Robert Martin (Adler Schmidt). Well, at least, we wish it were that simple. Of course then you add in Feldzieg (Justin Palmer), Janet's producer who would do anything to stop this wedding and get his leading lady back, Kitty (Grace Moen) Feldzieg's dim-witted plus one who dreams of a leading role, and three gangsters posed as pastry chefs (Cole Steiner, Rebecca Barr and Margo Diener), and you have a recipe for disaster.
This wedding will be hosted at Mrs. Tottendale's (Madison Perkins) estate, even if she forgets about it occasionally, where the lovely Underling (Michael Schieldt) will be ready to serve any request you have, and boy does the Chaperone (Vanessa Gassman) have a lot of them. Of course, no wedding would go off without a hitch without a best man getting the job done and that is exactly what George (Hunter Tierman) works hard to accomplish.
Wait! Wait! Wait! We have forgotten one guest! Aldolpho (Gavin Binger), the lovely King of Romance, has decided to join this evening's festivities, although no one really knows why he is there. All in all, this invitation you received is one of the very best! This musical is my favorite and I do hope you join me in watching it. -The Man in the Chair (Fredrick Kolyzko)
Tickets can be purchased at the New Glarus High School office during regular school hours. Performances are Friday, March 18, 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 19, 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, March 20, 2:00 p.m.
