New Glarus Holiday Events

The New Glarus holiday season kicks off with Adventsfenster, a daily, life-sized advent calendar opening. Attend the reveals each day from December 1st through 24th at area businesses, churches, and homes. A calendar of locations can be viewed at www.swisstown.com or at the downtown info kiosks.
Get into the Christmas spirit with the annual holiday tree lighting on December 4th at the Chamber Depot, 418 Railroad Street. Boy Scout Pack 848 will do their Adventsfenster window reveal at 6:30 p.m., at the depot building, followed by the Chamber of Commerce holiday tree lighting with cookies, cocoa, and holiday music.
Crafts with Santa will take place at the New Glarus Elementary School Cafeteria on Saturday, December 4th, from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
The Swiss Church Cookie Walk will take place Saturday, December 11th.
The New Glarus Christkindli Market will make its first appearance in downtown New Glarus December 10-12, 2021!
Shop local and support small businesses, while enjoying holiday lights and music. Christkindli Market hours will be Friday, December 10th, from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11th, from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 12th, from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
