New Glarus Lions Club Chicken Barbeque

The New Glarus Lions Club will hold their annual Chicken Barbeque at the Fest Haus, 106 3rd Avenue, on Friday, July 30, 2021, serving from 4:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., rain or shine, dine-in or carry-out. There will also be an opportunity to donate used eyeglasses and hearing aids onsite.
Adult tickets (over age 12) are $12.00, children 6-11 eat for $6.00 and ages 5 and under eat for free. On the adult menu is delicious Barbecued Chicken, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Roll with Butter and Milk, Lemonade or Water and an Ice Cream Cup. For children 11 and under, the menu includes a Drumstick or Hot Dog, Chips and Carrots.
The Lions are also holding a 50/50 raffle drawing at 8:00 p.m., and you do not need to be present to win. First Prize is 60% of the 50%, Second Prize is 30% of the 50% and Third Prize is 10% of the 50%.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards local scholarships, vision screening, eyeglasses, programs for diabetes, childhood cancer, hunger relief, youth, the environment along with other humanitarian and community projects, so come on out and visit with your friends and neighbors while enjoying a delicious meal in support of your community.
