Pioneer Road Reconstruction Planned

This spring/summer, the Town of New Glarus plans to reconstruct Pioneer Road, from County Highway O to Titus Lane. The project will include pulverizing the existing asphalt, widening the road, improving sight lines, overlaying with hot-mix asphalt and re-ditching.
We would like to invite you to a public information meeting to review the project with our contractors, engineer and utility representatives. The project will require cutting down some trees along the ROW and may require some grading easements on a few properties to increase safety along the roadway.
The public information meeting will be held at the Town Hall office, located at 1101 Highway 69, on March 22, at 6:30 p.m. Our engineer will have more information on the project, including a schedule/timeline of the project.
