Raiders Track Competes at Lakeside Lutheran

On April 26th, the Sugar River Raiders track team competed at the Lakeside Lutheran Capitol North Quad at Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills. The men scored 135 points to Lakeside Lutheran’s 94, Watertown Luther Prep’s 52 and Cambridge’s 26 while the women scored 112 points to Watertown Luther Prep’s 83.66, Lakeside Lutheran’s 58.33 and Cambridge’s 33.

In the 100M Dash, DJ Donnell placed 5th, while Lawrence Vasquez placed 16th, Cade Thayer placed 19th, Alex Shrader placed 22nd with a PR, Jacob Jenkins placed 27th, Charlie Sarbacker placed 32nd with a PR, Iain Vinson placed 33rd, Chase Varney placed 38th with a PR, and James Markhardt placed 39th.
In the 200M Dash, DJ Donnell finished 4th, while DeMarcus Conner finished 6th, Patrick Samon finished 10th, Kevin Vega finished 16th, Blake Endres finished 17th with a PR, Iain Vinson finished 19th with a PR, Max Marty finished 21st with a PR, Andrew Sarbacker finished 22nd, Josh Danz Grass finished 24th with a SR, Julian Williams finished 27th, Chase Varney finished 29th and Ben Remy finished 30th with a PR.

In the 110M Hurdles, Jack Erickson finished 2nd, while Gabe Nass finished 3rd, Caden Myers finished 6th with a PR and William Gobel finished 10th with a PR.
Jack Erickson won the 300M Hurdles with a SR, while Gabe Nass finished 7th.
The 4x100M Relay team of Adrix DeVoe, Max Marty, Cade Thayer and Lawrence Vasquez finished 3rd in the event, while the team of Dylan Baker, Josh Danz Grass, Edan Doll and Blake Endres finished 7th, and the team of Noah Lewis, Carson Loshaw, Derek Schultz and James Markhardt finished 8th.
In the 4x200M Relay, the team of DJ Donnell, Blake Johnson, DeMarcus Conner and Patrick Samon finished 3rd, while the team of Julian Williams, Kevin Vega, Alex Ruschman and Dylan Baker finished 7th.

The Raiders hosted a Capitol Conference Triple Dual in Belleville on May 3rd. They will attend the Deerfield Classic on May 6th and host the Raider Invite on May 13th.
