Road Rally 2015 is Coming Up

We are getting down to the wire!!! Road Rally is almost here and we had a very busy week! We had about a million calls back and forth, changing this wording, this spelling, adding something, removing something…Yes, it is like a rewrite.
I think it must be like a book, the author submits it, the editor sends it back and it goes on and on until it shows up on the best sellers list!!!
I’m sure that Barb and I will end up there someday!! Yes, I know, in OUR dreams!!
So as we perfect this route for you, we hope you are about ready to come out and give it a try! We can only hope you all have some gorgeous weather as we have each time we climbed into the driver’s seat and me in the passenger seat!
We will start sending cars out about 8:00 a.m. I say this because sometimes we show up early. No promises, but it has happened in the past!
Please meet us at “The Station” aka CITGO on River Street. Please bring your carload of friends and family. We will not be responsible for any fights or divorces that occur during this event.
Please bring a $20.00 donation per carload. That’s a pretty good deal for a day full of adventure and unbelievable fun!!
We would deeply appreciate it if you would patronize the establishments that you will be guided to.
Also remember your binoculars and reference material. Barb’s books that we use are practically worn out! We have used the binocs a couple of times.
Also, line up no earlier than 7:00 a.m., in the order you arrive!! We will be sending you from the same spot that we sent you from last year. Be courteous as The Station needs to do business as well, in the middle of our event. We do appreciate them letting us use this as our Starting Line!
And most important, PLEASE register with Connie when you see her, as it is very important that you take care of this.
We started driving about seven weeks ago. We have planned a great day for all of you. We have sat for countless hours, used up numerous erasers, took our checkers out for the test ride. We have changed, and corrected a number of things.
We just need all of you to show up and 39 other full cars to join you out there, on the road, for a day full of fun, frustration, running for game pieces, searching for UFOs and game pieces.
We cannot wait to see you on November 7th!
